Groves believes that the entire process of crafting safe snacks encompasses three things
1) material procuring and handling,
2) the cooking technology, and,
3) the science behind the technology. At the procurement stage, we ensure that the farm produce that we use is insecticide/pesticide free, free of surreptitious chemical agents or additives, has been grown using standards that are as per internationally accepted norms, etc. Once the quality of the produce is verified and approved only then is it sourced by us. Transporting and storage is similarly done in a way that is most appropriate for maintaining international standards. The entire process of procuring the raw material to it being cooked and packed is completed within twenty-four hours. This is done so that the snack is of highest quality.
The cooking technology employed at Groves is completely automatic, except for peeling. This lends to all Groves products hygiene standards that are extremely high.
Finally, the oil used for cooking, the machinery used for production were all chosen based on their ability to transfer maximum taste and health benefits to the consumer. The technology used at Groves ensures that all products are evenly fried with optimal oil soak-up, the oil FFA level is constantly maintained at optimum, oil gets purified and filtered every minute, etc. Many other such technology-enhanced machinery have been used at the Groves plant to produce snacks of highest quality. A Quality-Assurance Laboratory also works in tandem with all the above. The laboratory is able to test all the food products and other auxiliary materials used in the process.
